Existence and uniqueness of an optimal control in a fluid flow problem and the academic journey

In this talk, I will share about my journey at Calvin, in a PhD program and getting a job as a tenure-track professor. There will be a chance to ask questions about my career journey. I will also share about some of my research related to a partial differential equation constrained optimal control problem that has applications to Glaucoma. We will discuss how to show that an optimal control exists, is unique, and how to characterize it.
