Geometry: Mathematics We Can See

Mathematics is primarily viewed as a study revolving around numbers, variables, and equations. While these are undoubtedly major constituents of mathematics, they are only means given to us to understand the logical world around us. The study of geometry concerns shapes, symmetries, and patterns, allowing us to forgo these symbols, and have visual representations of the beautiful logical structures that mathematics ultimately hopes to represent.

In this talk, we will explore how geometry is hidden all around, how it reveals the beautiful logical structure of our world, and how we have adapted this knowledge to real-life situations.
